HadcoPro Privacy Policy

HadcoPro is the project app Hadco Builders uses with its project managers, homeowners and trade partners. It includes the HadcoPro iPhone app and the web portal at hadcobuilders.com/pro. This policy explains what HadcoPro collects, why, who can see it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Altitude Digital Solutions (“Altitude”, “we”) builds, publishes and operates HadcoPro for Hadco Builders (“Hadco”). Hadco decides which project information is kept and uses it to run its construction projects. Altitude hosts and processes that information for Hadco and is your contact for anything in this policy.

HadcoPro is invite-only. Hadco creates every account, for its own staff, for the homeowners it builds for and for the trade partners on its jobs. There is no public sign-up.

This policy covers HadcoPro only. The Altitude website privacy policy covers this website and its contact form.

Information we collect

Account information. Your name, email address, phone number (if Hadco adds one), your role (for example project manager or homeowner), which projects you can see, your notification preferences and when you last signed in. Your password is never stored as written: we keep only a salted hash of it.

Project information. What you and Hadco record about a project: its address and details, schedules and tasks, daily field logs, crew time, inspection results, punch-list items, change orders, selections and your choices, contracts and amendments, invoices and payment schedules, receipts, project updates and notes.

Photos and files you choose to add. The app asks for camera and photo-library access only so you can take or attach a photo (a field log, a receipt, a punch item, an inspection sticker) or a document. It never reads your library on its own. Photos can carry details your camera adds, such as where they were taken. HadcoPro doesn’t read or use that information.

Electronic signature records. When you agree to receive records electronically, approve or acknowledge a change order, or sign an amendment in the app, we keep a record of it: your typed name, the exact wording you agreed to, a digital fingerprint of the document, the date and time, your IP address, the device and app version, and how you confirmed (Face ID or passcode). These records exist to prove what was signed, so they are never edited afterwards.

Device and technical information. If you allow notifications, the push token Apple issues for your device, with its platform and app version. When the app talks to our servers, standard request logs (IP address, time, what was requested). If the app crashes or hits an error, a report with the device model, iOS version, app version and what went wrong, tagged only with your account number and role.

What we don’t collect

  • Your device’s location. The app doesn’t ask for location access.
  • Your contacts, microphone or calendar.
  • Your advertising identifier. HadcoPro has no advertising and no ad or analytics trackers.
  • Your activity in other companies’ apps or websites. HadcoPro doesn’t track you.
  • Your face or passcode. Face ID and passcode checks happen on your iPhone; HadcoPro only learns whether the check passed.

How we use it

  • To run HadcoPro: show you your projects, schedules and documents; let you record work, make decisions and sign; and send the in-app, email and push notifications you’ve chosen.
  • To prepare documents such as contracts, amendments, invoices and payment records.
  • To read documents for you: receipt scanning, and reading blueprints and estimates, are done by automated services from Amazon Web Services (Amazon Textract and Amazon Bedrock). We’ve opted out of AWS using that content to improve its services, so it isn’t used to train AWS’s AI models.
  • To forecast weather for a job: only the project’s city, state and ZIP code are sent to the public weather services Open-Meteo and the U.S. National Weather Service. No personal information is sent.
  • To keep HadcoPro secure and working: troubleshooting, fixing crashes and preventing misuse.

We don’t sell or rent personal information, we don’t use it for advertising, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who we share it with

  • Hadco and the people on your project. Hadco staff see the projects they work on. Homeowners see their own project. Trade partners see only the projects and work they’re involved in.
  • Service providers working for us. Amazon Web Services (hosting, database, file storage, email, notification delivery and document reading), Apple (delivers push notifications to your iPhone), Expo (delivers app updates) and Sentry (crash and error reports). They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
  • When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, Hadco, Altitude or others.
  • If HadcoPro changes hands. If the app or service is transferred to another operator (for example, to Hadco), your information moves with it and stays covered by this policy.

How long we keep it

  • Your account is kept while it’s active. If you ask to delete it, it’s deactivated immediately and deleted within 30 days.
  • Project records (contracts, signatures, change orders, invoices, payment and tax records) are Hadco’s business records. They’re kept for as long as Hadco needs them and the law requires, even after an account is deleted, so your name can remain on documents you signed. Electronic signature records are never altered.
  • Push tokens are deleted when you sign out or delete your account.
  • On your iPhone, the app keeps a copy of what you recently viewed for up to 24 hours so it still works on a weak signal, and keeps your sign-in in the iOS Keychain. Both are cleared when you sign out.
  • Database backups are kept for a short period and then overwritten automatically.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored encrypted with Amazon Web Services in the United States. Access is limited to the Hadco and Altitude staff who need it. Passwords are stored only as hashes, sessions expire, and you can lock the app with Face ID. No system is perfectly secure, so if you think your account has been misused, change your password and email us.

Your choices and rights

  • See or correct your information. Ask Hadco or email us for a copy of your account information or to fix something that’s wrong.
  • Notifications. Choose which updates reach you by email or push under Notifications in the app’s Account or Profile tab. You can also turn push off in iOS Settings.
  • Camera and photos. Change HadcoPro’s access at any time in iOS Settings.
  • Electronic records. Withdraw your consent under Electronic signatures in the app’s Profile tab. Hadco will then send documents to sign on paper or as a PDF.
  • Delete your account. Tap Request account deletion at the bottom of the Account or Profile tab, or email us.

Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional privacy rights. We honor access, correction and deletion requests from every user, wherever they live, and we won’t treat you differently for making one.

Where it’s processed

HadcoPro runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States. If you use it from outside the United States, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

Children

HadcoPro is a business tool for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child’s information has been added, email us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how your information is used, we’ll also tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
